Dick's 1st Vessel

Story time folks! Gather round! I finally finished drawing pictures of Dick's first three vessels and will be posting them today, along with a short story of his life in these vessels. Though he tends not to stay in each vessel very long.

First up is Rex.

When Dick's mother felt that Dick was old enough (and he was about 30 when she did), she pulled some strings and planed to get the two of them out of Hell. But there were rules that she laid down.

"I want you to learn and to grow in a way that only Earth can teach you," She told him. "So there are certain vessels I'll want you to take that will help you. Hm. But seeing as how this is a time to celebrate, you may choose your first vessel. Anyone you want." And Dick being Dick, chose a puppy.

This type of dog is called a patterdale terrier (and I used refs for these pictures because I'm terrible at drawing dogs). Dick was very happy, despite how displeased his mother was with his choice. But sadly for Dick this vessel lasted him a mere five minutes before he stupidly ran into the road and got hit by a car.
