Dick's 3rd Vessel

When Dick's mother returned to Dick, she told him it was time to go to school. He'd "lazed about long enough".

The ideal vessel to go to school in was a young boy named Gunther. As Gunther, Dick attended an expensive school with strict teachers. Again, Dick's mother ordered him to stay in this vessel until she told him he could find another one.

This vessel took Dick a lot longer to get used to. He didn't like the teachers, but Gunther's mother was very sweet and she always made dessert for after dinner. Something Dick loved very much as he's terribly addicted to sweets.

Still, school was difficult. Not just because of the classes, but because of the other children. It seemed as though Dick's mother had specifically chosen a boy that was not popular and in fact had been teased quite often. Dick had to overcome this as another learning experience. His mother must have underestimated him though, as Dick easily found ways to "get back at" the children who picked on him while also getting a big laugh out of it.

But pranks aside, there was an instance at this school when Dick felt serious about something, perhaps for the first time. It was over a classmate of his that would often be teased too (as he was lanky and had ugly glasses, etc.). Dick had no trouble helping Artie (the lanky boy) when it came to chasing off classmates, but the teacher was another story.

Ms. Spider (as Dick called her because of her long spider-like fingers) was very strict. She didn't like kids getting up and horsing around in her classroom so it wasn't often that she let the kids get up from their seats for any reason. But one day Artie had to use the restroom. He asked if he could go to the bathroom but Ms. Spider thought he was just looking for an excuse to get up and mess around. She told him he could go after he finished his work.

Artie worked fast but when he was almost done Ms. Spider began to write more assignments on the board, forgetting about the boy having to use the restroom. Artie tried to finish them but Ms. Spider kept thinking of more assignments to add to the board. She just wouldn't put down that marker and before long poor Artie wet himself. He was the laughing stock of the whole school and Dick had never been more pissed off.

That night Dick sneak out of Gunther's house for the first time. He broke into the school, carrying a couple grocery bags with him. It took him all night but Dick went into every class room, every cabinet and every drawer, taking the tops off of the dry erase marker in the school. After taking off the tops Dick would set the marker back down or place them back into their boxes, knowing they'd all dry out before morning.

When the kids all went back to school the teachers didn't know what to do. They couldn't give any assignments because not one of the markers worked. Dick didn't tell Artie that it was him that did it, but when Artie went home there were two bags of marker tops sitting on his front porch.
